EMphase Finance strives to become one of the most important website in North America concerning fundamental analysis using traditionnal quantitative and technical analysis based on the Elliott Wave Principle. The website will contain detailed analysises concerning specific companies, commodities and indexes along with educational content.

EMphasis on Quality
EMphase Finance is a completely free service and will be updated at irregular intervals but as often as possible. However, it may become a paying service in the near future. Maintaining high quality content requires alot of patience, time and money. Until then, please take a look at what we have to offer once in a while and enjoy!

Our Method
EMphase Finance believes that it is important to invest in sound companies no matter if it’s only for a short term trade or a long term investment. However, we also believe it is important to seek the momentum. Yes this means we are using a fusion of fundamental and technical analysis. Why both methods? Because we don’t want to lose time arguing with the Efficient Market Hypothesis and we believe its better to take the best of both worlds!

Our Mottos
At EMphase Finance, we have for motto that « in case of any doubt, it’s better to avoid ». Stocks with strong fundamentals but weak technical momentum and stocks with strong technical momentum but weak fundamentals will all be discarded. Moreover, we also have the motto « Stand Out ». We want to be different from the herd in our approach and avoid acting like the herd.

Stock Analysis
EMphase Finance method of selecting stocks is first based on a basic fundamental filter. We after take a look at each individual stock resulting from the filter and they must then pass a very rigorous technical analysis on 3 historical frame periods : short term, medium term and long term.

Once we found a stock meeting all our criteras (which is usually rare), we will make a complete detailed technical analysis along with basic fundamental information that we will published on this website. We will also mention entry points, best stop losses and targets. However, we will never make any recommendation in our analysises to buy, hold or sell these securities. Please refer to our Regulatory Notice.

Commodities & Indexes Analysis
EMphase Finance reviews regularly the major commodities and indexes using a blend of economic data and technical analysis based on the Elliott Wave Principle. If we do no publish a commodity or an index, it’s because we may be uncertain regarding the most valid count of such commodity or index. We do not want to “force” a count just for the sake of publishing.
